Quilts for the week...




These two quilts were UFO's out of my own quilt stash that have been sitting waiting to be finished for a while. The first is a Storm at Sea that was foundation pieced and then stippled all over.
The second is hand appliqued and quilted with a lovely heart pattern to compliment the patchwork pattern.

Another simple pattern but very effective from Claire.The quilting is done with a template of various patterns.A simple pinwheel pattern in butterfly done by me.
The backing in butterfly's with a quilting pattern called Angel Wings but looks like butterfly's to me!

Whats finished this week......


A lovely pink log cabin lap quilt - quilted with the pattern Bubbles. This is for a raffle quilt.
This lovely Starry Quilt was quilted with the Stars and Loops pattern. The Windmill looking pattern was quilted with the Trailing Vine pattern. Both beautiful quilts!

Some pretty ones...

Jenny's Noshi Wall Hanging - Hand Appliqued with satin and brocade borders. Quilted in variegated purple tones in a small freehand meandering pattern. Angels Floral Flannel - flannel on both back and front - lovely and warm! Quilted with a freehand loop pattern. Kay's Kolourful Kwilts - nice colours, warm and cosy looking. Quilted with a curly feather pattern and a simple meandering curly feather pattern.


A cute babies quilt



This quilt was made for a friends new grandson. Quilting is freehand loops.
